It’s part of the ANTICORIT brand / line from Fuchs, which are corrosion preventative oils / coatings.
“RPS” variants are designed for steel mill applications (mill-coated products, surfaces exposed to outdoor / storage conditions) where corrosion protection is needed temporarily, but removability and safety are also important.
Used on steel surfaces during / after mill processing (rolling, handling) to protect against rust and corrosion during transport or storage.
May be applied by spraying, rolling, or other methods appropriate for large surfaces in a mill.
Should be removable when the steel is to be further processed, painted, welded, etc., so formulation balances protection with cleanability.
Resistive to corrosion under specific storage conditions, but environmental exposure (rain, humidity) or damage to the film can degrade protection.
The film weight & coverage are important: inadequate coverage reduces effectiveness.
Removal: must use appropriate solvents / cleaners compatible with downstream processes.
