The Cassida Chain Oil Series is a line of food-grade chain lubricants (fully synthetic or ester based) designed for use in food & beverage, packaging, and similar industries. The oils are made to meet hygiene and safety standards (incidental food contact), to resist wash-off / fling-off, and to give good wear, corrosion protection under challenging conditions (temperature, moisture).
They are certified under relevant standards such as NSF H1, NSF ISO 21469, often Kosher / Halal.
Excellent adhesive properties to chains / contact points which helps reduce “fling-off” (oil being thrown off chains) or wash-off by water.
Neutral odour and taste, formulated for food contact or potential incidental contact.
Certifications: NSF H1 (safe for incidental food contact), NSF-ISO 21469, Kosher, Halal in many cases.
Resistance to corrosion under wet / aggressive environments; good water-separation; stable in cold and hot temperatures depending on variant.
