It is a semi-synthetic water-miscible cutting / machining coolant.
When mixed with water it forms a stable, finely dispersed clear (translucent) emulsion.
Free of nitrites, chlorine, and phenols.
Has hard water stability (can work in water with high hardness) up to ~ 800 ppm CaCO₃ in some sources, or similar values.
Compatible with various elastomers such as natural rubber, nitrile, and neoprene.
Suitable for machining of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steels, cast iron, aluminium (6000 & 7000 series), and even titanium in some cases.
Also suitable for machining engineering plastics (PU, ABS, PP etc.).
Good for sawing operations, where a water-soluble cutting fluid is required.
Recommended for both central coolant systems and individual machines.
Grinding operations: ~ 3-5% dilution.
Normal machining: ~ 4-6% dilution.
Difficult / heavy machining: ~ 8-12% dilution.
Low / non-foaming: Even under high flow or pressure and in soft water, foam is minimized.
Biostatic: Naturally restricts growth of bacteria and fungus, reducing the need for additional strong/harsh biocides and helping avoid odour / spoilage.
Rapid demulsification of tramp oil: Oil on top (tramp oil) separates easily, facilitating oil skimming / removal.
Superior corrosion protection: Offers good protection even with less than ideal water quality (hardness, chlorides). Politek+1
