The Cassida Grease RLS Series by Fuchs is a line of food-grade lubricants specifically formulated for the grease lubrication of machinery in the food and beverage processing and packaging industries. These greases are based on an aluminium complex thickener, synthetic base fluids, and selected additives chosen to meet the stringent requirements of the food and beverage industry.
The RLS Series includes the following grades, each tailored for specific applications:
RLS 000: A synthetic semi-fluid grease suitable for applications requiring a very low consistency.
RLS 00: A synthetic grease with a low consistency, ideal for centralized lubrication systems.
RLS 0: A synthetic grease with a medium-low consistency, suitable for various machinery components.
RLS 1: A synthetic grease with a medium consistency, recommended for use in Lincoln centralized lubrication systems.
RLS 2: A synthetic grease with a medium-high consistency, suitable for rolling element and plain bearings, joints, and linkages open to the atmosphere.
NSF Registration: All grades in the RLS Series are NSF registered (Class H1), making them suitable for use where there is potential for incidental food contact.
Compliance with ISO Standards: Manufactured in compliance with FLT Quality Standards and facilities that follow HACCP audits and Good Manufacturing Practices, as well as quality and hygiene management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 21469.
Performance Characteristics:
Noted for their long life.
Good water resistance ensures lasting protection even in the presence of large amounts of water.
Good oxidation and mechanical stability, resisting the formation of deposits caused by oxidation at high operating temperatures.
Effective corrosion protection to prevent component failure due to corrosion.
Good adhesive properties reduce losses, thereby reducing grease consumption.
Neutral odor and taste, ensuring no contamination of the processed food.
The RLS Series is suitable for various applications in the food and beverage industry, including:
Bearings, bushings, and linkages on food manufacturing equipment.
Centralized lubrication systems.
Joints and linkages exposed to the atmosphere.
Automatic, centralized lubrication systems.
