Good cooling / heat dissipation for operations like cutting, turning, milling, possibly broaching where a “wet oil” is not needed or desired.
Uses in machining operations where a neat oil is preferred: turning, milling, thread cutting, possibly forming, broaching.
Especially suited for materials like steel, cast iron, and perhaps non-ferrous metals depending on viscosity grade and formulation.
