ECOCUT HFN 16 LE is a neat (non-water miscible) mineral oil based cutting / grinding / machining fluid.
“LE” stands for Low Evaporation / Low Evaporation & Mist (anti-mist). It is engineered to reduce oil mist and vapor losses during machining.
It is formulated with highly refined base oils, EP (extreme pressure) additives, oxidation stability agents, and corrosion protection agents.
Intended for normal to difficult machining and grinding operations on materials such as steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys, non-ferrous metals (yellow metals), and magnesium/alloys.
Especially suitable for finishing & grinding operations, including cam and crankshaft grinding with CBN wheels.
Can also be used for general lubrication and hydraulic applications (where viscosity grade permits) due to its multifunctional nature.
Low oil mist & low evaporation → improves workplace safety / cleanliness, reduces waste use.
Good tool life, thanks to EP additives and stable lubrication under load.
Good surface finish especially in finishing / grinding due to its lubricity and low vapor/mist properties.
